I had my sons Birthday at Maximum Skating on the weekend. Great service, good food. I requested the Pizza Package with a gaming theme. Loved how I didnt have to organise anything, cake and Lolly Bags were all organised for me, table cloth, plates and balloons were all done. All I had to do was bring candles! Thank you Maximum Skating.
Maximum Skating is a fantastic destination that is suitable for the entire family because it features an impressively large skating arena and underground parking. They have incredibly helpful staff members that monitor the crowd and get everyone involved in the different activities that are going on. The viewers are provided with an abundance of bench seating options.
Went there at 1.30pm Saturday. Kids enjoying them, mainly just skate. Nice little canteen with sufficient menus and reasonable price. The only downside was there was no much going on except a flat rink (no obstacle/maze/inflatable attraction seen from the picture). Also the place is quite hot considering the day and non air conditioning. Clean toilets and seating areas.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! At my niece's birthday party today which was held here, and I was thinking i’d take my daughter here for her birthday until I was talking to the workers when arranging my daughters skate size and could not believe their incredibly horrible and rude attitude towards me and others! I was also on the rink helping my 6 year old nephew who has a disability and has always wanted to skate and was told to get off because I didn’t have roller skates on, I explained my nephew has a disability and I was told that he shouldn’t be on the rink then… I am appalled with the lack of inclusiveness!
A lovely young girl that worked there and was on the rink was so lovely and helpful, she helped show the kids how to skate, however once the other workers saw this they proceeded to tell her not to help us anymore.
I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone I know! So my recommendation would be to try to find a different roller rink place that actually understands the need to help young kids with disabilities and be inclusive! I would recommend to the young kids working there to show manners and compassion! Take lessons from the only young worker there that shows decency!
A very accommodating venue for kids of all ages to play on a wide skating rink. Rolling frames are provided for all to use. Musical games are run for those who want prizes. There's a nice food stall inside too. Toilets are cleaned and illuminated better than a few I've seen. People are very considerate for others who have fallen over. Staff are always nearby keeping an eye on everyone for safety and always stopping to help the kids. Two huge slow moving fans keep the place cool, not to mention the back wall is open.
I'd definitely come here again. I do wonder about the compatibility of the scooters and skateboards shown in the rental shop. Is there a scheduled time for mixed platform skating? Oh, and the pair of rollerblades I used had very worn down brakes. I wonder if the brake blocks get replaced often? I am glad everyone was in a slow to moderate speed here. Iceskating t-braking doesn't work well on wheels if you don't have brakes, hah
8 yo birthday party in the private room, well organised with a dedicated team member to look after the details and ensure everything ran in timely not rushed way(another party followed) kids loved it ,great venue, one improvement, coffe was terrible...recommended, enjoyable.
I went to Maximum Skating for the first time last night and I had the best time! I don’t post Google reviews often but I can’t help myself when I know it’s well deserved. The staff at Maximum Skating were so friendly and accommodating, the place was well maintained and the atmosphere was awesome. It was definitely the music/games that topped it for me though and the fact that I even got to pick up a few new skills from the staff whilst I was there.
Thank you to Maximum Skating for all the work that you do and for creating such an awesome space that everyone can enjoy 😊
